to Register to Vote
Register to vote at the B.F.F.A.R club house, we also have Absentee Ballots. Voter registration applications in English and Spanish may be obtained at a variety of locations including:
To have a voter registration application mailed to you, you may e-mail or call the Volusia County Department of Elections office or call between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The telephone numbers are: (386) 736-5930 (West Volusia); (386) 254-4690 (Daytona Beach), (386) 423-3311 (New Smyrna Beach) or 574-0598 x 5930 (Osteen area). Deland Area Voter Registration Applications can be obtained from the Department of Elections, local financial institutions, public libraries, drivers license bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, and other locations. Applications can be returned by mail and must be postmarked 29 days prior to the date of the election in order to vote in that election. They may also be hand-delivered to the Volusia County Elections Office or to a public library at least 29 days to prior to the date of the election. Deadline to register for the October 9th elections is 5:00 p.m. on September 10, 2007. Deadline to register for the November 6th Run-off Election is 5:00 p.m. on October 8, 2007. Contact the Volusia County Elections Office for more information and for special requirements for first time voters registering by mail.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS - Voters who are unable to visit the polls on Election Day may request absentee ballots from the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections (736-5930).
